PEACE AT LAST? WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH INVESTING?
The four days starting with President Trump’s decision to bomb Iran’s nuclear sites and ending with President Trump engineering a ceasefire between Israel and Iran is beneficial short term (fewer people are killed from either side) but clearly tentative. The immediate speculative impact as judged by the commodity markets are:
Stock market up slightly
US Interest rates flat to slightly lower
Japanese JGB flat
BUT, Crude oil - a major drop back toward the lows of @ 60 per barrel
