Do you see what I see? -massive selling starting at 6 AM followed by massive buying starting at 8:30 to recover the previous loss?
I suspect that what happened was that the sharp selling of the future lasted @ 2 ½ hours was met by a ‘panicked’ reversal probably as a part of the Federal Reserve’s announced new money printing (and T-Bond buying) project.

…OK the October 2023 108 low has held for more than a full year. But without what seems to me as a panicked buy frenzy on Dec 23rd- we could have seen new highs in long term interest rates for this cycle.
We are talking about a US bond market in the range of - wait for it - $50-55 TRILLION. Efforts by the Fed to prop up a market of this size could be best described as PUNY.
This all points to a reason to keep close watch on the interest rate markets.
